My interpretation of her tutorial:

I still have to create one more ball. And I also have to find something to fill the basket with to make it look more full.
And instead of making them for the Christmas season. I added sayings that will allow me to keep them out all year round.
It isn't as great as the tutorial but I must say I feel I did an OK job!

I know what you are thinking Karen, very country! :o) But I still like them. Maybe I will give them away as a gift. I guess with crafting the possibilities are endless.
Up next...a tote bag! Wish me luck.

I think they're cute (even if they're a bit country :))!!!
Did you buy fabric like I told you to?
Those are cute! You could hang them on your year-round Christmas tree (hee hee). :P
Ha ha! Very funny Geibs!
And Karen - I need to find a better fabric store around here. I like Jo-Anne's but there stuff seems a little dull if you get my drift. Any names of places you know that I could google and see if they are around here?
Jackie, I think they turned out GREAT!! I love that you put your own twist on them too....that's the cool thing about creating, you can change it up and make it your own. You could probably put a plastic grocery bag all wadded up under your lining of the basket! I'm so glad you visited my blog ~ this project is going to be in the fall issue of Somerset Life magazine!!
xxoo,
