Our weekend was filled with food, four wheelers, cows, laughter, crying, pillow fights and did I mention food? I think I gained 10 pounds!
Here are some pictures:
My sisters and I.Alicia is the one I owe my life too! She donated a kidney to me in August of '06. I am pleased to say we are both doing great!
Mom with my two nieces, Sydney (Nickie's daughter) and Jasmine (Jessica's daughter).
Madison (Alicia's boyfriend's little girl) Syd, and Jasmine enjoying the tour of the cow farm we took on Saturday. The calf in the picture was just born the night before. Although the cows were cute, the girls enjoyed the barn kittens the most. It was a miracle we made it out with none hidden in their shirts!
Alicia and Steve.
We had two great picnics while we were there. The first one was at Steve's house in the country. He has a beautiful old farm house. Here he is trying to teach Syd how to ride a little four wheeler. We all had a blast riding four wheelers all day. Don't worry we got adult size machines to ride! The night was topped off with a dip in the creek (for some) and a giant fire to cook s'mores.
At the picnic on Saturday along with a lot of other great food there were MD crabs! Yummy! I love old bay crabs. I know they don't look good but the meat inside is delicious!
The whole side of the family at the bbq at Aunt Donna and Uncle Rob's house. (L to R : Aunt Donna, Alicia, Steve, Morgan, Uncle Rob, Candace, Joe, Jessica, Jasmine, Nickie, Madison, Mom, Me, Aunt Sharon and Roger.)It was a really great weekend. Some of my family I hadn't seen since Grammy died. And that was four years ago. The best part about seeing them, is that even though we haven't seen each other for years, we picked right up where we left off the last time. We have a fun time laughing and teasing each other.
I am looking forward to the next reunion. Hopefully we won't have to wait years to see each other again!

BLECH! I can't get over how horrible those crabs look. I'll just have to take your word for it that they're delicious.
Looks like you had a lot of fun at your family reunion!! Did you get on the ATVs???
P.S
I forgot to mention before how big Jasmine is. She used to be a tiny little thing!!!!!!!
OMG Did I see an open-mouth smile?!
We had fun too. I hope we don't wait another 4 yrs. PS. You forgot to mention Saige and Sydney in the above picture. Eventhough they are unforgetable. Love ya.
