I hope everyone had a good weekend! Aaron and I had fun Saturday but Friday didn't turn out so good. Let me explain...Aaron and I go out to eat to one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The food was good but the drunk, obnoxious, older women put a damper on the experience. We eat our meal as quickly as possible just to get out of there.
We are driving on our way home when
BAM we are hit from behind. Now, it is bad enough to get into an accident but remember the new trailblazer I was telling you about in an earlier post? We driving that when we were hit! We must have set some kind of record. We only had that thing 10 days before we were in an accident.
Aaron and I are fine (just sore necks) and the trailblazer doesn't look like there is much damage to it at all. I can't say that for the girl's car. It was pretty messed up in the front. I think us being up higher really helped us but hurt her. But what can you do right? Hopefully, the trailblazer is not cursed from here on out.
Saturday Aaron and I decided to carry out the plans we already made a few days before the accident. We went down to
Louisville to
Lynn's Paradise Cafe. We had seen the
restaurant featured on
Bobby Flay's Throwdown on the Food Network and thought it looked like a fun place to try.
It was a very 'interesting' place! The had the most crazy things hanging on the walls. There were
mannequin legs, trees growing from the floor, crazy flea market lamps, etc... One of my favorites was a hanging fixture made of used tea bags. There must have been hundreds. And of course the food was really good!
Here are some pics of this fun place:

And lastly on a random note: it snowed this morning!

I hope everyone has a great Monday!
